The business world is full of voices that clamor for attention. Servant leaders need to be able to discern God’s voice in the midst of the noise surrounding us. Developing a biblical perspective, a godly perspective, is an intentional process. Leading like a servant leader is a daily commitment. On this lifelong journey, each day begins with a mindset focused on serving others and ends with an opportunity to reflect on how we have done. Asking God to examine our motives, to search our hearts and minds, keeps pride from taking root in our hearts and allows God to continually shape us as servant leaders.
Send forth your light and your truth, let them guide me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Psalm 43:3
