Let’s see how smart you are: Do wise people save for the future, or do they spend whatever they get?
A fundamental financial principle is this: When you spend your money, it’s gone. Yet, when you save your money, your money works for you. Do you agree?
Let me help you with this.. and it’s very simple. There is a question you can ask yourself that will help you save more money. This is so simple. When you get ready to buy something, ask yourself, “Do I really need this?” And then be honest with yourself.
If you’ll do things God’s way, you will be able to not only get out of debt but also invest in the future by saving. For instance, do I really need a new car? Well, I know I’d like it. But, do I really need it? Do I really need this upgrade? I know I’d like it, but do I really need it?
Keep asking yourself, “Do I really need this?”
If we you God’s blessing on your finances, you must learn to save and invest for the future. We need to save regardless of income because the point is that God is teaching you to be disciplined and wise with your money.
